My name is Mariah Simone' Denson!
​
I am a graduate of Florida State University with a Masters in International and Multicultural Education and Program Evaluation. I am currently getting my doctorate in Educational Leadership with an emphasis on Technology Instruction and Design.
I have over 13 years of award-winning international product, community, and program development and educational experiences with organizations such as USAID, NASA, Georgetown University Center for Intercultural Education and Development, and Reed Exhibitions Intl. to name a few.
I’ve developed sustainable and ethical businesses, and educational programs and have taught at organizations/institutions in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, South Korea, and Japan. I’ve also helped organizations confront their internal biases and implement social justice programming with the goal to work, live, and thrive in better spaces that are supportive and equitable to all.

And yes, for those of you that know…I’m also a village cousin to about 1,000 young girls & boys internationally through my work with nonprofits, NGO's, and my love Global Patch Gaming.
Ok, Lets get Real!
I have had 14 years of experience, teaching, creating solutions, building community, exploring technology, getting careers in video games, and traveling and moving around the world!

But it WASN'T always EASY.
​
I grew up poor! Like 'sleeping on the floor because I don't have a bed or a room' dirt poor. Like 'waking-up-to-rats-taking-loafs of bread out the door' poor! But my Momma (being the strong loving black woman that she is) powered through all of that and lifted us up out of poverty. She AND other strong women and men taught me how to go after what I wanted and flex the resources that I had. And I ended up teaching myself and finding resources to do AMAZING LIFE CHANGING THINGS!

And even in my adulthood...I've had to fight through...cancer/sick scares, helping my mother through blood clots that almost took her life, walking through dementia and alzheimers with my Nanna, family Drama & Trauma honey, heartbreak, and a plethora of other issues that no one could help me navigate.
And
I survived & Thrived!

And I did this through my love of EXPERIENCES, SERVICE, and COMMUNITY.
​

Since then, I've been traveling and living (yes like getting a work visa & paying taxes in these different places because I'm a resident) from South Korea, Japan, Bahamas, Orlando, New York, Las Vegas, and more! Along the way, people have shared their homes, their stories, their love, and ideas of freedom and happiness with me. Interwoven in these stories were moments of pain, sadness, uncertainty, and self-doubt. Fears that reflected my own.

And one day…I just said to my fears enough!
Since, then I have been helping myself and beautiful people around the world define their Happiness, Create organizations & programs, and DO DOPE SHIT! I also help people all around the world JUST LIKE YOU....travel the world, get access to educational resources, get into games, esports, and streaming, find and create solutions for businesses, build nonprofits, conquer their fears, build a life of freedom, & happiness to help determine all of that for themselves!
And now, I am using all of my experiences and knowledge to share my lifelong joy of technology, travel, video games, esports, streaming, digital artistry, and hospitality culture. I aspire to educate and advocate for rural and marginalized communities to get equitable access to these spaces and be treated fairly within them. Additionally, I want to help people get aligned with their purpose and learn to use their current resources to do the thing they love and have a sustainable living while doing it.
